Location

The Alpenhaus Steinbock boasts an excellent location in the heart of the Riederalp. From the house you can reach in approx. 8 minutes the cable car station, shops, the post office, the tourist information, golf and ski school office.

In the immediate vicinity of the house is the practice lift. So you have your children “always in view”. Put on skis in front of the house and 2 minutes later you will be at the start of the gondola lift “Moosfluh”. In the evening you drive comfortably with the skis back to the front door.
In summertime, you are only a few meters away from the golf court, FunPark and the miniature golf.

Thanks to the south orientation of the apartments, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the four-thousand-meter peaks opposite the Valais Alps. In addition, you benefit from optimum sunshine.

Getting there

By car or train to Mörel. There is a parking space available to guests by car (only in the winter season).

Then by cable car (Grosskabinenbahn) to the Riederalp. The cable car runs every 30 minutes. On Saturdays in the season every 15 minutes. The journey takes about 10 minutes.

On Riederalp you have the possibility to order a taxi. This will take you to the door in about 5 minutes. Or you can pickup the wooden sledge from our house, with which you can transport the luggage to the house. The tourist office also rents sledges for transport.
